MOULD RELEASE OIL TMKBB

Description

TMKBB Mould Release Oil is a specialized product designed to meet the unique needs of concrete mould manufacturing. It ensures smooth concrete surfaces and prevents sticking, making it ideal for concrete pipe manufacturing and other applications requiring precision and quality in concrete work.

Common Uses of Mould Release Oil TMKBB

  • Prevents Sticking: Mould Release Oil TMKBB creates a protective barrier between concrete and the mould, preventing the concrete from adhering to the mould’s surface.
  • Smooth Surface Finish: When used correctly, the oil ensures that concrete pipes and other forms have a smooth, attractive surface without staining.
  • Facilitates Easy Removal: The mould oil is applied as an even film to the mould before the concrete is poured. This prevents the concrete from sticking, making it easier to remove the form once the concrete has set.
  • Rust Prevention: For steel moulds, the oil also helps prevent rust during storage, which can cause staining and damage to the concrete. This extends the life of both the mould and the finished product.
  • For Centrifugal Casting: TMK Mould Oils are particularly suitable for concrete pipe manufacturers using the centrifugal casting process. These oils form a tough protective film that withstands the intense scouring that occurs when wet concrete rotates inside the mould.
  • For Vibrated Concrete: Mould Release Oil TMKBB is specially formulated for use in metal forms that are vibrated to increase the density of the concrete. It can be applied either undiluted or diluted with kerosene or diesel, depending on the specific application and conditions.

Miscellaneous Uses

TMK Mould Oil GG is also used in the production of concrete pipes formed in steel moulds within trenches. The oil is applied undiluted before the concrete is vibrated into place. It is especially useful for high-speed, high-pressure concrete applications.
