Our first meeting of the 2022/23 season was at our home track Huntly International Speedway, with Brad looking to start the season strong and Sam putting in some good laps while getting familiar with the car.

During the season Brad travelled the North and South Island to tracks in Gisborne, Palmerston North, Wellington, Wanganui and Christchurch while Sam mainly kept to the local tracks in Auckland and Huntly to get seat time and become one with the car.  Brad had some mixed results with Equipment failures and getting caught up in incident but still coming away with some good results.

The NZ Modified Champs were to be held at Huntly Speedway over 2 nights, but again the rain played its part with only getting 1 race in on the first night which meant the balance of the qualifying races, Repercharge and the final being held over 1 night. Brad had a fantastic drive with winning 5 out of his 6 qualifying heats which put him top qualifier for the final race, Sam also had a good run in her heats with managing to get into the Repercharge which saw her come home with her first Win in a Modified and securing a position in the Final winner takes all race.  Unfortunately, Sam ended up on the infield with a DNF in the final but Brad continued his form on the night to secure the NZ Modified Title for the second Time.

Both Drivers headed to Stratford for the Taranaki Champs meeting that was held in April, resulting in Brad coming home with the cup in 1^st place and Sam getting on the podium in 2^nd place.

Overall both drivers had a successful seasons and are ready for the upcoming season starting in Huntly on the 21^st October.
